HPU Authors' Celebration Re-scheduled In-Person

The Annual HPU Author Celebration, an event honoring the faculty, staff, and students who have contributed to the scholarly and creative life of our HPU ʻohana. This gathering recognizes the publications that enrich our academic community and inspires future authors to add their voices to the scholarly conversation.

Our featured speaker, Peter Britos, will share insights from his new UH Press novel Valley of Spiraling Winds and offer reflections on the writing and publishing journey. Following his talk, we’ll open the floor for a lively Q&A about getting published, navigating the process, and finding your place in the world of scholarly and creative work.
